Bonnie opened the door and walked in her home. But as soon as she turned on the light, she saw her dad, sitting on the armchair which he turned so that he can face the door. He was looking sort of angry, upset, heartbroken, despite he was also sort of looking numb. Bonnie was clearly surprised to see him, as apparently he wasn't supposed to be here. She couldn't speak for a moment. Then..

Bonnie: "Dad?" (he was still looking numbly) "I thought you weren't coming until next month."

Father: "That was the plan. Until I called you for straight two weeks but no one bothered to pick up."

Bonnie: "Dad, I.."

Father: (interrupted) "That was two months ago, Bonnie. Finally I stopped calling, thinking that you'd call back. But you didn't. So I called you one last time, then I packed my things and came back." (Bonnie felt a lump in her throat) "And I've been sitting here at this exact spot for four days."

Bonnie: "Dad, please just listen!"

Father: "No, don't. Please. I'm done. I.. I can't take this anymore."

Bonnie: (almost crying) "What does that mean?"

Father: "I can't keep worrying about you. Not while you're living with this lifestyle of yours. I'm done with your irresponsibility. You've been out there this whole time, you can build a life of your own. So do whatever you came for, then get out of my house and don't come back."

Bonnie: "At least let me explain!"

Father: "Please, go ahead. Explain what prevented you from making a phone call in three months."

Bonnie: "It's not like that. I wanted to. I just wasn't able to."

Father: "What, you were at an island?"

Bonnie: "Been to one, but that's irrelevant."

Father: (surprised) "What?"

Bonnie: (took a deep breath) "Look at the ashtray on the table."

Father: "Bonnie.."

Bonnie: "Just look at it!"

He looked at Bonnie with annoyance, then reluctantly turned his head. That is when he saw the ashtray, which was floating in the air instead of staying on the table. He freaked out and moved with shock. Quickly looked at Bonnie, then continued looking at the still-floating ashtray.

Father: "Are.. Are you doing this?!"

Bonnie: "Yes."

Father: "How?"

Bonnie: "With magic."

Father: (looked at Bonnie) "Magic?" (looked at the ashtray as Bonnie slowly put it back on the table with magic) "How's that even possible?"

Bonnie: "This thing runs in the family. Comes with blood. Grams had it. Mom had it. Now I have it."

Father: (stood up) "So, you're like.. a magician?"

Bonnie: (tried to smile) "The official term is witch."

Father: "Witch?"

Bonnie: "Males like to be called warlocks." (saw that her father is having a hard time processing) "We are a rare species. After witch trials like Salem witches and everything, we became even harder to come by. So I kinda have to go wherever I'm needed."

Father: "This is insane!"

Bonnie: "You can't imagine what people need witches for. Some need protection, some need to find something they lost. A missing child, an amulet. I was born with these powers and I can't escape it. It's my destiny."

Father: "So you've been out there this whole time, helping people out?" (Bonnie nodded. Upon this he looked around trying to make up his mind) "And you said your mom had this magic too. Was she like you, helping people out?" (Bonnie nodded) "Then why she never returned?"

Bonnie: "Sometimes witch businesses get tricky. Dangerous. We may not be able to make it back."

Father: (felt like he had to sit, and slowly left himself on the armchair. Then talked with an obvious denial) "She's dead!"

Bonnie: "I'm sorry."

Father: (after a brief silence) "I wanna know what kind of dangers are there out there for witches."

Bonnie: "Dad, no."

Father: "My wife couldn't survive being a witch and now my daughter is one."

Bonnie: "This is my burden to carry, not yours."

Father: (stands up) "Your burden is my burden. I'm your father. And I have to know."

The two looked at each other for a moment, then Bonnie took a deep breath.

Elena's crying could be heard from all over the house. June was trying so hard to calm her down, but it was backfiring and she was crying even more. Suddenly the front door opened and Damon walked in. Upon hearing the door's noise, June came downstairs and relieved to see Damon.

June: "Thank god you came!"

Damon: "What's going on?"

June: (desperately) "It's Elena, she's going nuts!" (they started to walk upstairs together) "I did everything I can. I changed her diapers, I fed her, I played with her, I sang a lullaby. I don't know what she's crying for! Babies cry because their lungs hurt but that's not the case for her."

Damon: "How would you know that?"

June: "Know what?"

Damon: "The lung thing?"

June: "Some of us go to school, Damon! We see biology!"

They finally arrived upstairs and opened Elena's door. Damon looked at June weirdly upon hearing Elena's cries.

Damon: "Speaking of biology.. Maybe she just needs to break wind."

June: (weirdly) "What?"

Damon: "Fart."

June: "I.. I know what that means!"

Damon: "Well, babies can't do it themselves, so someone's gotta make them."

June: (slowly looked at Elena) "I'm not so sure I want to see that!"

Damon: "Yeah, you can wait outside."

June: "I'll be doing that."

Then she went outside and closed the door.

The machine was beeping in the hospital. Samara had fallen asleep while staying near Chris, who was still comatose. So she missed it when he woke up. Chris slowly opened his eyes and looked around. When he saw Samara he smiled ridiculously, while thinking how adorable she looks when she's sleeping. Then slowly called her name and made her wake up. Samara woke up while taking a deep breath and straightened on the chair she fell asleep. Then randomly looked at Chris, and smiled with happiness to see him awake.

Samara: "Welcome back!"

Chris: "You are so adorable when you are sleeping!"

Samara: (smiled) "So you've been awake for a while."

Chris: "A while."

Samara: "And I was the one who was supposed to be here when you woke up."

Chris: "Did you ever consider kissing me?"

Samara: "What?"

Chris: "You know, the kiss of the true love will awaken me from my eternal sleep."

Samara: (smiled naughtily) "Yeah, tried that. But I guess it didn't work because witch powers do not work on angels."

Chris: (looked around) "We're not in Mystic Falls, right?"

Samara: "No. The town was abandoned when you two passed out, so we brought you to a neighbor town."

Chris: (anxiously) "So Meredith is here too?" (Samara nodded) "Do you know where she is?"

Samara: "I'm not sure you'll be allowed to walk."

Chris: "To hell with them, I'm gonna see my sister."

Then stood up and started walking while holding on to his infusion stand.

Stefan entered sheriff's office.

Stefan: "You called?"

Liz: "Yes, thank you for coming. Where's Damon?"

Stefan: "Had to go check on Elena." (walked in and closed the door)

Liz: "Is she okay?"

Stefan: "Still same."

Liz: "No memories?"

Stefan: "No memories."

Liz: (sighed, then took a bunch of papers and gave them to Stefan) "Here, check these."

Stefan: (looked at the papers for a moment) "Missing people?"

Liz: "Two more this week. It makes five in total."

Stefan: "And you said the connection between the victims are.."

Liz: "They all live on the same street."

Stefan: (looked at Liz) "Something's coming."

Liz: "It's been two months since you destroyed the kitsune army. Living in a town like Mystic Falls, these missing people are no good news."

Stefan: "The calm before storm!"

Liz: "I'm afraid so."

Stefan: "Let me ask you one thing. Do you.."

Suddenly someone knocked the door. Liz and Stefan stopped talking and looked at the door. Then the door is opened and a girl walked in. She was a police officer, but Stefan was immediately stunned by her beauty.

Girl: (to sheriff) "I just finished with the files. You asked me to see you when I'm done?"

Liz: "Yes, Raven. Come in. I'll be with you in a minute."

Girl: (seeing Stefan) "I can come back later if you're busy."

Liz: "Stefan was just leaving. By the way, Raven, this is Stefan Salvatore, Stefan, this is Raven Johnson."

Raven: (they shook hands) "Pleased to meet you."

Stefan: (fascinated) "Pleasure's mine!" (the way he said it made Raven smile, but she tried to cover it as she was before the sheriff) "Raven Johnson, are you Emil and Clara's daughter?"

Raven: "Who? No. No, I'm new in town."

Liz: "Raven's been a great help to me. She's assigned here when we decided to put this town back in order. I couldn't have done half the things I did if it wasn't for Raven."

Raven: (chucked nervously, as she was trying to be modest) "I was just doing my job."

Stefan: "Well if only everyone was like you!" (Raven understood that he wasn't just being kind, he was also trying to woo her. This made Raven unable to help smiling) "I'd better get going."

Liz: (apparently even she realized Stefan was amazed by Raven, as she was trying to avoid looking at them while her eyebrows were raised. Then looked at Stefan after he spoke) "Let Damon know of these?"

Stefan: "Sure, yeah." (looked at Raven) "Welcome to Raccoon City."

Raven tried to smile, but apparently the metaphor kinda bugged her. After Stefan walked out, she quickly turned to Liz.

Raven: "He was.. kidding about the Raccoon City thing, right?"

Liz: "Yeah, he was."

Raven: (sighed with relief) "Okay, great!"

Katherine walked in the vampire's tomb, and after walking for a while, she finally found Tyler in an alcove where Klaus was used to stay when he was in Tyler's body.

Tyler: "Hey!" (got up) "You came."

Katherine: "I did."

Tyler: "Wasn't sure you would."

Katherine: "So this is where you've been staying?"

Tyler: "Turns out my ingenious sire made himself quite a home here. And that's exactly what I got until I get a mortgage."

Katherine: (while smiling) "You know you can always compel yourself a house, right?" (then saw that Tyler was looking at her with a weird smile) "But I guess you'd say that'd be improper."

Tyler: "I don't know about that. Maybe all I need is a little bad in the mix."

Katherine: (chuckled softly, and turned her back to Tyler) "You don't have it in you to be a bad boy, Tyler."

Tyler: "You think?" (stood up) "Or you just think you're bad enough for both of us?"

Katherine: (slowly turned to Tyler) "You think I'm a bad girl?"

Tyler: "Oh, yeah! But I don't think I've seen your worst side yet."

Katherine: (came so near Tyler that both could feel each other's breaths) "Okay, bad boy. Show me what you got." (came even closer and spoke to his ear seductively) "And I'll show you what a real bad girl looks like!" (Tyler looked at her for a while, then held her head and got ready for a kiss. Katherine spoke before he could) "Like I said, you don't have it in you!"

Then she pushed Tyler to the opposite wall with her vampire speed. There they started kissing passionately. After they keep this for a while, Tyler took Katherine this time to the opposite wall the same way. They tore each other's clothes, and Katherine wrapped her legs around Tyler's waist. Tyler took her to another wall. They kept making out for a while until Tyler decided to take her to his bed. Then Katherine lowered her legs and pushed Tyler to the bed. Then jumped on him and they continued making out passionately.

Christian was standing near Meredith's bed. She was still asleep. The machine had a bugging beep. Samara followed him into the room shortly afterwards. Chris slowly sat down to the chair.

Chris: "I hoped she'd wake up with me."

Samara: "I know."

Chris: "So I guess she put a lot more power than I did to those wings."

Samara: "Could be."

Chris: (rubbed his hand to his forehead stressfully) "Thinking about all the things that's happened since we came to Mystic Falls, makes me wanna curse that town forever."

Samara: "Can't blame you. My sister's involvement with a vampire dragged her to dark magic and eventually got her killed."

Chris: (with an intense disgust) "That town is damned! My sister lost two people she loved and now she's in a coma. I lost all of my friends."

Samara: (couldn't help a tear falling down her cheek as she felt a lump in her throat) "Chris there's something we need to talk." (Chris looked at her) "I'm going back to home."

Chris: (looked away sadly) "Yeah, I figured you would."

Samara: "There's nothing left for me here anymore. I met my cousin, made real good friends. Fell in love. But it has to end."

Chris: "Why?"

Samara: (took a deep breath, and spoke sadly) "I have to go back to my old life. Besides, you're an angel, Chris! And I'm a witch. My kind doesn't affect yours. And what if we get serious? Decide to get married and have children? We'd ruin the balance of nature. As a witch I have to consider that."

Chris can't help dropping a few tears. It was painful, but Samara was right. They couldn't do it.

Chris: "Yeah, I understand."

Samara: (her voice was cracked, indicating she's trying so hard not to cry) "Please don't get me wrong. I love you, and I don't regret a second we spent together."

Chris: "Me neither, Sam!"

Samara went ahead and kissed his head.

Samara: "Goodbye, Chris!" (then started walking away)

Chris: (quickly looked at her) "Hey, come here!" (Samara turned to him and went near him. They kissed each other with passion while tears fell from their eyes. Finally they broke up. They looked at each other one last time) "Take care of yourself, okay?"

Samara: "You too."

Then Samara left the room with an intense heartbreak. While walking through the corridor, she felt the pressure on her increasing, and more and more her eyes got full with tear. Finally she couldn't take anymore. Stopped walking, leaned to a wall and started crying.

Damon walked out of Elena's room. June, who apparently was sitting on the floor outside, stood up and looked at Damon.

June: "She stopped."

Damon: "She didn't need to fart."

June: "Then how did you do it? I hope you didn't smack her head or compel her to stop."

Damon: "Nah. But she's sleeping now. Like a baby."

June: "Then what'd you do?"

Damon: "That's my secret."

Then he started going downstairs. On halfway through, June appeared at the top.

June: "Then you're gonna have to share it." (Damon stopped, then turned around and looked at June) "Unless you want me to call you every ten minutes." (an awkward silence took place) "Look, I don't know what to do. I'm not cut out for this. I'm helpless. Jeremy's working his ass off to make more money for three of us. He's got no time. And you moved out. I'm all alone in this. I just became fourteen, but I'm the mother of a nineteen year old. You can't know how hard that is."

Damon: "Look I didn't really do anything. She just needed to sleep. So I held her, carried across the room. Talked about some random emotional crap she had no clue about. Next thing I know, she was sleeping in my arms. So I put her in the bed, and went out."

June: (sat on the stairs desperately) "I can't do this. Not by myself." (looked at Damon) "Please move back in."

Damon: "I can't do that June. You know that." (saw that June is almost crying) "Hey, I know it's hard. But it's not always gonna be like this. It's gonna get easier."

June: (looked at Damon) "I don't want it to get easier."

Damon knew exactly what she meant. So without saying another word, he went ahead and hugged her. She hugged him back. She wasn't crying, but the pressure on her was so exhausting that she couldn't help dropping a few tears.

Caroline and Bonnie were at the grill. The waiter brought the french fries Caroline ordered. Bonnie pulled the plate to the middle and started eating.

Caroline: "Hey!"

Bonnie: "I'm living on this, not you."

Caroline: "It tastes good, that's why I ordered it."

Bonnie: "Are you coveting?"

Caroline: "Coveting would be if it was yours." (pulled the plate back to herself) "This is mine." (Bonnie smiled, and ate the two pieces left in her hand) "Besides, I'm stress-eating. I can't believe you told dad about everything."

Bonnie "Not everything. Just enough to freak him out."

Caroline: "Just that you're a witch, then."

Bonnie: "And I told him to ingest vervain everyday and not to invite anyone in directly."

Caroline: (sarcastically) "Good call, Bonnie. Now how the hell am I supposed to compel him to forget?"

Bonnie: "You're not supposed to."

Caroline: (surprised) "I'm sorry, wasn't that the whole point of we're having this conversation?"

Bonnie: "No, the whole point of we're having this conversation is I need someone to talk to. And since Elena is out of the picture, you're all I got."

Caroline: "What's that supposed to mean? If you could talk to Elena you wouldn't consider me?"

Bonnie: "Look at you, Caroline. You've changed!"

Caroline: "Like you remained same. We all changed, Bonnie!"

Bonnie: (leaned to the table, and talked quieter) "Well, spend your three months as a ghost and see how that effects you."

Caroline: "Be chased by a hybrid all night then get surrounded by a hundred kitsunes and see how that effects you!"

Bonnie simply raised her eyebrows. Then looked at the plate and made one of the fries float to her. Quickly looked at Caroline.

Bonnie: "Do not covet!"

Caroline: "I'm not coveting."

Bonnie: "You are coveting."

Caroline: (slightly angrily) "I'm not!" (then saw Bonnie's face and realized she's just messing with her. Smiled ridiculously) "Bitch!"

Bonnie smiled too, then ate the fry she floated to herself.

Late at night, Jeremy opened the door and walked in. He was clearly too tired and was barely awake. He directly went upstairs and didn't even realize June until she wished him good night. He replied her like a zombie, and entered his room. June sighed with loneliness and despair upon this. Then entered Elena's room. She was sleeping. Slowly closed the door not to wake her up, and went near her. After looking at her for a while, she decided to lay near her. When she felt someone else on the bed, Elena instinctively hugged June without waking up. June looked at her for a little more while, then closed her eyes and slept.

Next morning, Stefan entered sheriff's office. Liz had just went behind the table. She was clearly surprised to see Stefan so early.

Liz: "Good morning, Stefan."

Stefan: "Good morning, sheriff."

Liz: "What brings you so early?"

Stefan: "I spoke to Damon about those missing people. And he has a very interesting theory."

Liz: "Which is..?"

Stefan: "Well, after two epic failures of her kitsunes, Damon thinks Inari might have decided to take the matter in her own hands."

Liz: "Inari?"

Stefan: "Yep."

Liz: "The one that created the entire kitsune species!"

Stefan: "That's the one!"

Liz: "Where is Damon now?"

Stefan: "Uhm.. He's sleeping, I didn't wanna wake him up."

Liz: (with an obvious effort to get the words out of his mouth) "And why did you wake up? Just to let me know about Inari?"

Stefan: "Kind of, yeah."

Liz: "So it has nothing do to with you wanting to see Raven?"

Stefan: (moved uncomfortably and then smiled ridiculously) "Did I make it that obvious?"

Liz: "You want me to be honest? It's okay to move on from Elena. Raven's a good girl. One to be fascinated with. So I can't help appreciating your taste in women!"

Stefan: "Thanks. So is she here today?"

Liz: "Yes. But she's got work to do. She has a lunch break at twelve though." (Stefan nodded with enthusiasm. He was clearly looking forward to seeing her) "You're a good person, Stefan. And you deserve to have a life."

Stefan smiled modestly. Then turned around and walked out.

Meredith slowly opened her eyes. Chris was waiting near him.

Chris: "Hey, beautiful!"

Meredith: (looked at him with a tired smile) "My head hurts."

Chris: "I know."

Meredith: "I feel exhausted."

Chris: "I warned you, wings of remembrance are intense. And you forced yourself a lot with them."

Meredith: "Did it work?"

Chris: (shook his head, meaning no) "I'm sorry."

Meredith: (looked around) "We're not in Mystic Falls, are we?"

Chris: "No, we're not. When they suspected we won't be awaking any time soon, they decided to send us to a hospital in the neighbor town."

Meredith: "Wait.." (looked at Chris with confusion) "How long have I been sleeping?"

Chris: "For two months."

Meredith: (straightened in her bed with shock. Her voice was so sleepy that it sounded like she was crying, but she wasn't) "Two months!?" (Chris didn't know what to say) "God it feels like yesterday."

Chris: "Well technically it was yesterday for you."

Meredith: "Did anything happen?"

Chris: "I don't know, I just woke up yesterday." (looked at a random point) "And my girlfriend broke up with me."

Meredith: "At least yours is still alive."

Chris could feel her pain in her voice. He stood up and sat on the bed near Meredith.

Chris: (looked into her eyes) "Let's leave the town."

Meredith: "I can't. My life, my home.. It's all there."

Chris: "Who cares. How many times you need to get hurt before you die because of that town?" (Meredith looked at him sadly) "Just let go. It's not worth it, Meredith. Let's leave Mystic Falls to vampires.. and werewolves.. and whoever wants to destroy or save it. We build a life of our own."

Meredith didn't reply, but the way she looked made Chris understand. She agreed. Later that afternoon, Meredith and Chris were packing their things from Meredith's apartment. As they brought the last of their bags to the car, Damon showed up.

Damon: "What, you were gonna leave without a goodbye?"

Meredith: (smiled upon seeing him) "How did you know we're here?"

Damon: "Samara texted us."

Meredith: (smiling) "I was gonna call you."

Damon: "When? On the halfway through wherever you're going?"

Meredith: (after a brief but meaningful silence) "I'm really glad you're here."

They hugged each other.

Damon: "I'm really glad you're okay." (when they broke up, he saw Chris just closed the trunk and was walking towards them) "Chris?"

Chris: "Damon?"

They handshaked, knowing it is goodbye.

Damon: "Take good care of her, okay?"

Chris: (smiled) "Sure."

Damon: (to Meredith) "Don't cool off, okay."

Meredith: (smiled) "You too!"

Then they both got into the car, and Chris drove away. Damon looked behind them until they turned a corner and disappeared.

June woke up, and tried to sneak out of the bed before Elena woke up and freaked out. But Elena was already awake, and didn't let June leave by holding her arm. Due to their contact, understanding that Elena is in need of someone near her, she smiled to her and laid back near her.

Stefan was happily talking to Raven as he walked her to the police station. Apparently both were having fun. Before they left each other, Raven said maybe his way will cross here again tomorrow. Stefan smiled, and said "maybe". Then Raven went into the police station, and Stefan went back to his home. Both were smiling ridiculously.

While these were happening, Caroline was headed to the vampire's tomb to see Tyler. But when she got close, she heard someone going out and hid behind a tree with her vampire speed. Then started watching the entrance. A couple of seconds later, Katherine went out buttoning up her shirt, followed by a topless Tyler. Shocked by what she saw, Caroline watched them kissing passionately, then left the place with an intense anger.

At night, Raven walked into her house. But as soon as she turned on the lights, she saw a middle aged Japanese woman sitting on a chair faced to her. Raven was startled at first. Then she made up her mind.

Raven: "Who the hell are you?"

Inari: (after a brief but creepy silence) "Finally, someone who's mind is not protected."

Raven: (confused) "What?"

Inari: (stood up and started walking near her) "Do you have any idea how hard it is for people like you to come by?"

Raven: (while trying to remain calm) "Ma'am, you're trespassing a private property, I'm gonna have to ask you to leave!"

Inari: "Tell me one thing, sweetheart. Are you in any way a witch, werewolf or anything supernatural that you may or may not know of?"

Raven: (got even more confused, while also thinking the woman could be crazy) "What're you talking about?"

Inari: "I just need to make sure you won't be lurking on the other side after I kill you."

Raven's eyes opened wide upon hearing this. However, in less than one second, she made up her mind. Immediately took one step back while pulling out her gun, and aimed it directly to Inari's head.

Raven: (angrily yelled) "Get out! Now!"

Inari: (not threatened one bit) "My my! What a temper! I think it's time for you to let go."

After that Raven felt her hands moving against her will. Inari was doing it with her magic, but Raven did not know that. In shock, she realized she was going to aim at herself, so she tried to fight back as hard as she can. But she was helpless.

Raven: (desperately and freaked out) "What is happening!?"

Inari: "You earthlings really don't know how to treat a guest." (that is when the gun finally aimed at Raven's head from under her chin. Raven was freaking out. Then for one moment, she got distracted when she heard her own voice from the woman) "Luckily I do."

Raven had only one second to look at Inari, who was now looking exactly like her. She looked at the woman before her, who was now exactly like herself. It was like looking at a mirror in a horror movie, where the reflection moved in a different way.

Raven looked at her freaked out and confused.

And then the gun was fired.
